The Martha & Mary Prayer Guild’s mission is to reach out to those who are sick with a prayer shawl or blanket, prayers, and love to comfort, console and strengthen our family of faith. This ministry serves as a reminder of God’s promise that He will be with us always.
The Martha and Mary Prayer Guild at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton is an active way to love and care for our family of faith. Each shawl and blanket is created in prayer with love and is a tangible way to show God’s love to all of His people.
The Martha & Mary Prayer Guild at St. Elizabeth was formed in May 2010. Members gather together monthly in the church hall for an hour and a half of sewing, knitting or crocheting and camaraderie. However, no sewing skills are required. Meetings are on the first Wednesday of each month at 6:30 P.M.
