As a faith community, we usually try our best to provide support for families who have lost a loved one, through a time of prayer, a liturgy of Christian burial and by offering pastoral care in the days that unfold.

Too often when a couple or a single mother experiences a miscarriage or suffers a stillbirth, or the loss of a newborn, due to HIPPA laws, the parish priest may not be called to comfort grieving parents and the family. The community of St. Elizabeth Ann Seton does not want anyone to experience such a catastrophic loss… especially alone. If you or a loved one ever suffer from a miscarriage, stillbirth or newborn loss, please contact our pastor. Speak to Fr Doug. There are pastoral options and resources that he can assist you with as you and your family cope with your grief.
