Vocations cover all walks of life, single or married. For specific information concerning a vocation of becoming a priest, a deacon, a brother, or a sister (nun), please contact the Pastor or one of the Deacons.
In faith, we believe that vocations to ordained ministry and consecrated religious life are gifts from God to the recipient and to the Church.
We are called to help empower men to discern God’s call to ordained ministry and to assist men and women in discerning their call to the consecrated life through activities that raise awareness of church vocations and relationships that offer support in discernment. This is born from our participation in the life of Christ, which we receive through our baptism.
The Vocation Ministry will sponsor a different activity each month to remind parishioners to pray for the young men and women who have a vocation, so they will be able to answer the call. The vocation cross is a prayer tool we are using to pray for our seminarians and young women entering religious life.
