2021 Friends of the Poor Walk
The Society of St. Vincent de Paul invites you to take part in the 14th Annual Friends of the Poor Walk on Saturday, September 25, 2021. This year, we’re thrilled to announce that we’re back at Gabis Arboretum! We are looking forward to enjoying the fresh air, the sunshine, the breeze, and the sounds of nature (songbirds!).
The beautiful gardens are delightful to stroll thru and include the award- winning Railway Garden and fun-filled Children’s Adventure Garden.
We hope you are able to join us, rain or shine, for this scenic and relaxing walking tour. Each tour will have a guide to inform you about the gardens and answer any questions you may have. Check-in begins at 8:30 am with a 9 am start time. Golf carts will be available to provide accessibility for anyone needing them, along with drinks and treats for Everyone!
You can register or make a pledge for the Walk by stopping at the SVdP table before or after each weekend mass beginning 9/4/21.
